Accessibility statement
We want the Nur Ocakbaşı website and QR menu to be usable by everyone. Our target standard is WCAG 2.2 AA (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines).
Conformance status
Fully conformant. The site was designed and built to meet WCAG 2.2 AA, passes automated accessibility tests with every release, and was tested manually with a screen reader (NVDA) and with the keyboard alone on 19 September 2026. Everything found was fixed. If you notice a problem, tell us at the address below; we answer within five working days.
What we have done
- Every page works with a keyboard; each page has a “Skip to content” link and a visible focus indicator.
- The menu, dishes and prices are plain text and can be read with JavaScript turned off.
- Colour contrast was measured; information is never given by colour alone (for example, “Sold out” is written out).
- Nothing is lost when text is enlarged to 200% or at 320 pixels wide; zooming is never blocked.
- Motion and animation stop when “reduce motion” is turned on in your device settings.
- Buttons and links are at least 44×44 pixels (except links within text).
- The site and menu are available in Turkish, English, and Kurmancî Kurdish; the language of every page is marked, and sections that are not translated yet are marked as Turkish.
Known limitations
- Most common screen readers have no Kurmancî voice, so Kurmancî pages may be read with a default voice.
- The accessibility of external services such as Google Maps, Yemeksepeti, Instagram and YouTube is outside our control.
- Some dishes do not have a photo or description yet.
